Vegetable Soup

5 C. water
1 large onion, cut up
3 stalks celery, cut up
3-4 carrots, cut up
green beans, cut up
1/2 cabbage, cut up
3 potatoes cut up
1 small gren pepper, finely chopped
1 can corn, drained
1 can diced tomatoes
1/2 tsp. oregano
1/2 tsp. basil
salt & pepper to taste
1 clove garlic, minced

Combine all ingredients in soup pot. Bring to boil. Turn heat to simmer for 6 hours.
