Turkey Wild Rice Soup

2 cups diced, cooked turkey
3/4 cup chopped onion
3 tablespoons oleo
1 (6 ounce) box wild rice mix
5 cups water
1 cube chicken bouillon crushed
1 cup broccoli flowerets
1/2 cup shredded carrot
1 cup half & half
2 tablespoons sherry (optional)
salt & pepper to taste

Saute onion and oleo until crisp-tender. Add turkey, both packets from rice mix, water and chicken bouillon. Bring to boil; stir and cover and simmer 20 minutes or until rice is tender. Add carrot and broccoli. Cover and simmer 5 minutes. Add half & half. Heat to serving temperature-DO NOT BOIL. Add salt, pepper and sherry.
