Scrumptous Seafood Lingini

1 small box linguine (or fresh from refrigerated case)
1 small container whipping cream
1 cup Parmesan cheese
1 lb. each cooked shrimp and crabmeat, drained (you may also add more of your favorite seafood)
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1-2 cloves of garlic, to taste
1/2 cup butter or margarine
parsley for garnish (optional)
Parmesan cheese for garnish (optional)

Cook linguine according to package directions; set aside. Over medium heat, melt butter and add garlic to sauté. When the garlic is soft, add the whipping cream. Stir constantly for 5 minutes, until the cream thickens. Add the cup of Parmesan, shrimp, crabmeat, salt, and pepper. Stir and reduce heat to low. Let cook through for 20 minutes.
When finished, transfer linguine and sauce to serving platter and garnish with parsley and Parmesan cheese.
