Hungarian Goulash

2 lbs. beef chuck, cut into 1 cubes
4 Tbls. butter
3 medium onions, chopped
1 Tbls. paprika
2 Tbls. flour
2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
Dash of thyme
1 minced garlic clove
1 16-oz. can sliced tomatoes
1 c. sour cream

Melt butter in skillet and saute onions. Add beef cubes and brown well.
Transfer to crock pot. Add remaining ingredients EXCEPT sour cream. Stir, cover and cook on low 7 – 10 hours, adding osur cream last half hour. Serve over hot buttered noodles.
