1 tsp. instant beef bouillon (2 cubes works well)
1/2 c. hot water
2 1/4 c. whole wheat flour (or bread flour)
1/2 c. nonfat dry milk
1/3 c. vegetable oil
1 jar (3 1/4 ounce) bacon flavored pieces
1 Tbsp. firmly packed brown sugar
preheat oven to 300 degrees.
In medium bowl, dissolve bouillon in water.
Add remaining ingredients, stirring until well blended.
On a lightly floured surface, knead well and roll out with a floured rolling pin to 1/8 inch thickness.
Use a 2 inch cookie cutter (or any shaped cutters) to cut out dough.
Transfer to a greased baking sheet.
Bake 30 to 35 mins. or until firm.
cool completely on wire rack.
Store in an airtight container.
