Blue Cheese Crisps

1/2 cup Butter, room temperature
1 (4-ounce) package Blue Cheese, room temperature
1/2 cup Pecans or Walnuts, minced
Narrow loaf of French Bread

Combine butter and blue cheese in a small bowl. Blend well. Stir in pecans or walnuts. Preheat the broiler. Cut bread in 1/3-inch slices, and toast slices on one side until they just begin to turn light brown. Spread blue cheese mixture on untoasted side; broil again, cheese-side facing up, until bubbling.
