1 1/2 C Ketchup
1 C cider vinegar
1/3 C veg. oil
1/3 C worcestershire sauce
1/2 C brown sugar
3 TBS prepared mustard
3 cloves garlic
fresh lemon juice (about 1-1 1/2 TBS)
Combine all ingredients in a saucepan Heat slowly about 10 min. Keep warm and brush lightly over ribs. Bring left over sauce to a boil and serve the the ribs.
I know that if you buy country style ribs they are much larger vs. the baby back ribs. The country ribs are more like a pork chop. Maybe you would have better luck with the baby back.
Also if you parboil them about 30 min. or so this will make them tender.
If you are not cooking on the grill, try parboiling and cooking them in a crockpot. I find any meat cooked that way is always tender and falling off the bone.
