Baked Summer Squash

8 yellow squash, sliced
1 white or Vidalia onion, chopped
1 cup sour cream
1 cup cheddar cheese, grated
1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated
3 Tbsp. butter, melted
1/4 cup real bacon bits
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1 clove garlic, minced
salt and pepper to taste

Boil squash and onion until tender, drain. Place squash in a baking dish and pour melted butter over squash. Combine sour cream, cheddar cheese, 1/4 cup of parmesan cheese, bacon bits, garlic, nutmeg and salt and pepper and mix well. Place in baking dish with squash and stir. Top with the remaining parmesan cheese and paprika. Bake for 30 minutes at 350 degrees.
